Beyond the lifestyle, a well-maintained in-ground pool can be a real differentiator when it comes time to resell — especially in family-friendly neighborhoods around Nixa, Ozark, and Springfield.

What to know before buying a pool home
In-ground vs. above-ground. The listings below are filtered to in-ground pools — the type that’s built into the landscape, adds the most long-term value, and lasts decades with proper care.
Budget for upkeep. Plan for chemicals, electricity, and seasonal opening/closing. A typical in-ground pool runs a few thousand dollars a year to maintain. Ask for recent utility and service history during your showing.
Inspect the equipment. Get the pool inspected along with the home. Pump, filter, heater, liner or plaster, and the deck are the big-ticket items — know their age and condition before you write an offer.
Insurance and safety. Pools can raise your homeowner’s premium and may require fencing or a safety cover under local code. Factor both in early.
